Our Nursery group explore the topic of friendship

Last week in Nursery we looked at ‘friendships’ through the story Stick and Stone. The children enjoyed baking friendship cakes by weighing the ingredients against the weight of an egg. They also created transient art after learning about the artist Andy Goldsworthy and have started on their phonics journey by celebrating all things ‘s’ including writing with sticks in sand. Finally the group finished the week with a Forest School session dedicated to sticks and all their amazing properties. What a busy week we had!
