Year 5/6 – Owl Class

Welcome to Owl Class!

We are taught by Mr Holt-Williams and Miss Lewis supports us with our learning throughout the week.

In our class, we have wonderful, hardworking, friendly and polite Year 5 and 6 children. As the oldest children in the school, we have a lot of responsibility.  We like to be good role models for the younger children and we take on extra tasks; these jobs help us to be independent and we enjoy them very much – it’s nice to know that the adults in school trust us with such important roles!

In Owl Class, we take part in daily handwriting (Kinetic Letters), guided reading, writing and maths sessions. In the afternoons, we enjoy enriching activities and wider curriculum subjects.

Every day, we put on our running shoes and head outside to our daily 15 running track to ensure that we keep fit and healthy.
