Kingfisher Class take a trip to Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre
A look back to to last Friday, when the children in Kingfisher Class went on an educational trip to Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. They spent time exploring the features of rivers, before moving on to discuss currents and learning about the speeds that the water flows as it goes around a meander. The group also enjoyed an experiment where they threw sticks into the river meander to see whether the current was faster on the inner side or the outer edge.
We had a great day!
