Meet our Team | Mrs Dakin

 

Our meet the team continues, this time we are shining the spotlight on our wonderful School Administrator Mrs  Dakin:

“Hi everyone, I’m a bit of a jack-of-all-trades having worked in banking administration, been a stay at home mum, a KS2 teacher and a secondary school pastoral worker. I left pastoral work to look after my mum for six years and got this job with the lovely Lower Heath family just over four years ago. Our former Headteacher, Mrs Sadler told me I got the job because it was very obvious I really wanted it (desperate or what!). She was right, I was thrilled to get the role and genuinely love the work, the people and the place. The family that is Lower Heath is very special, I have loved getting to know staff, children and parents really well. It’s the joy of a small school and something that shone through in our recent Ofsted report. Out of school I’m kept busy with family and two wonderful grandaughters. Given a quiet few minutes I’m usually found with a book in one hand and a coffee in the other (exciting I know!) but you’ve got to be careful at my age.”

We were thrilled to receive fantastic outcomes from our recent Ofsted inspection back in September 2023, where  Lower Heath was rated “Good” in all areas.
