Meet our Team | Mrs Foxall

 

 

Our meet the team continues, this time we are shining the spotlight on our wonderful Skylark TA Mrs Foxall:

“Hi, I’m Emer Foxall, and I’m one of the Teaching Assistants in Skylark Class. I joined Lower Heath in September 2024, and I’ve been so warmly welcomed into the school community—it already feels like home!

I’m originally from Ireland, and the children often ask me all sorts of questions about our different cultures and traditions, which I love to chat about with them. I moved to Shropshire in April last year with my family, who are part of the military community at RAF Shawbury. Before settling here, we spent a year in North-West Germany and three sunny years in Cyprus, which was an incredible experience.

I’ve been working as a Teaching Assistant for a while now, starting in Cyprus and then continuing in the UK at schools like the Wilfred Owen School and Hodnet Preschool. I absolutely love working with the children here at Lower Heath, and I truly enjoy every part of my job, especially seeing how creative a lot of our children are!

At home, I’ve got four children myself, so we are always busy! We love getting outdoors—whether that’s going for walks, gardening, and at the weekends you’ll usually find me watching my children play football from the sidelines.”
