Meet our Team | Mrs Thomas

 

Our meet the team continues, this time we are shining the spotlight on our wonderful School Administrative Assistant Mrs Thomas:

“I make up half of the epic team that is Administration. I started at Lower Heath in September 2023, doing a business administration apprenticeship. I live locally, in Prees. Before joining the Lower Heath team, I raised my two young children, who definitely keep me on my toes – much like my job. It is my first role within an educational setting, and I absolutely love it! I must admit I was very anxious to start at first but the Lower Heath community – the children, staff and families – were so welcoming; I settled right into the family!

I’m a big nerd. My favourite things to do are to read fantasy novels, arts and crafts and play on my Xbox, when I have a quiet moment from the kids. I will always push for those to be proud of who they are and never shy away from what they love.

I can’t believe where the time has gone since I joined Lower Heath. I cannot wait to see how I progress and hope to stay for a very long time! The children are a credit to all of our families and staff. You can always find my smiley face in the office so swing by and say hi!”
