Meet our Team | Mrs Jenkins

We would like to shine the spotlight on Mrs Jenkins who is truly the cement to our school!

“Well what can I say about myself? Lower Heath has played a big part of my life. I went to the school as a child along with my younger sister and brother – then later my daughter Danni and son Callum followed in my footsteps. I started working at Lower Heath 8 years ago as a Lunchtime Supervisor during which time I became cleaner in charge. Later I decided it was time for a change so I volunteered as a Teaching Assistant in Nursery and Reception which I absolutely loved! I did a Teaching Assistant course and did more volunteering to gain more experience. Last year I became Breakfast and Activity Zone Leader and I love working with all the children; my family say I am a big child myself! I love crafting and seeing the children’s faces when they give their end products to their family – especially the edible slime!!! Lower Heath always has and always will have a special place within me.”
