Nursery | Remembrance Day & Diwali Activities
Last week in Nursery, the children looked at poppies and why we remember. They learnt a lovely poem and decorated many poppies, inspired by a stunning watercolour picture by local artist, @ShellGalluzzo. Nursery marked Remembrance Day with a 2-minute silence and decorated a cake to eat whilst we reflected. The group also looked at the Hindu celebration Diwali; the festival of light and learnt that light overcomes darkness. We have represented this in wax resist artwork and made rangoli patterns. What a busy week!
