Owl & Kingfisher produce stunning artwork
Children in Owl and Kingfisher Classes have produced some stunning artwork based around symmetry in animals. They used different media including pencils, coloured crayons and water colours to develop their use of tone and texture when sketching and painting. They worked with different images to produce realistic sketches, experimented with different backgrounds and got creative with some pop art. The children used peer critique to reflect positively on the skills they could see in their peers artwork and enjoyed reading the responses left on the post-it notes in their sketchbooks.
