Uniform update

Dear Parents

As many of you are aware, our current uniform supplier has sadly recently advised that they can no longer source our ‘Lower Heath green’ sweatshirts and cardigans, so we have been looking at options in order to ensure we keep the green sweatshirt we are all so familiar with. We are very sorry for any delays you have experienced in purchasing new uniform whilst we have been addressing this, but we are now in a position to move to a new supplier, and the details are below. Sweatshirts and cardigans will remain green, but will have our slightly updated logo embroidered on them. Polo shirts will need to be grey instead of white, and these can be embroidered or plain.

The updated uniform and PE kit will be a compulsory requirement from the start of the September 2021 school term.

However, due to our current supplier no longer being able to source our green jumper, and some parents keen to purchase new uniform, our new supplier can take orders straight away. We will allow our children to wear both the old design and updated design uniform until the end of the Summer term in July 2020. We feel this provides sufficient notice that by September 2021, all of our children will need to be in the updated uniform. This also gives the remainder of this school year for children to get wear out of old design uniform purchased quite recently.

The new uniform will consist of:

  • A branded, green, embroidered sweatshirt / cardigan
  • A branded or plain, grey, embroidered polo shirt
  • Plain grey trousers*, shorts or plain grey knee length skirt**
  • Green check summer dresses can be worn during the Summer Term
  • A branded book bag
  • Shoes – must be plain black leather style (trainers, canvas-style and ballet pumps are not permitted)

For PE, children will require:

  •  A branded, white, PE t-shirt
  • Black PE shorts
  • Socks (must be black, white or grey and plain in design)
  • Branded PE bag

*Trousers and shorts must be smart school-style only. Trousers must not be skin tight below the knee, hipster style or legging style. Material must not be cord, denim, stretch legging style or canvas/jean-style cotton and should not contain cargo pockets or logo labels.

**Skirts must be tailored in style with no fashion detailing such as pockets, patches or zips.

We are pleased to announce our uniform will be supplied by RAM Leisure, who supply some of our other Trust schools and have a very good reputation locally for quality, reasonably priced uniform.

How do I order:

The following systems are in place to allow you to purchase all uniform items:

  • Online (preferred option). Please visit and follow the link to visit our online shop.

Delivery is charged at £4.95 per package to your preferred address. Delivery to your home provides the safest option to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19. We may look to receive deliveries at school once the current restrictions end, thus saving parents the delivery costs.

  • Via the RAM Leisure shop in Wrexham. Parents can purchase all items of the uniform and PE kit straight off the shelf in the RAM Leisure store in Wrexham. This purchasing option may be particularly helpful in circumstances where items need to be tried on to determine correct sizing.
