Nursery | Mixing colours & splashing in puddles!
A look back to the activities of our Nursery children last week. They learned about the beautifully colourful book ‘Mixed’ by Arree Chung. The group explored how colours can mix and learnt which are primary and secondary colours and what that means. They have recreated settings from the story, followed repeating patterns and learnt about the artist Jackson Pollock and, using conkers, made pictures in his style. Then, when the weather was very wet the children put on their puddle suits and wellington boots and jumped up and down in puddles. What a busy week they had!
