Headteacher’s Welcome

Welcome to Lower Heath CE Primary School and Nursery

A very warm welcome to Lower Heath CE Primary School and Nursery!

Here at Lower Heath, we are very proud of our children, staff and governors who create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for learning, where children grow and thrive in a supportive atmosphere. As part of the Marches Multi Academy Trust, Lower Heath firmly believes in ‘achievement through caring’, enabling children to flourish into confident, independent learners.

Lower Heath’s dedicated and enthusiastic staff offer a creative, inspiring and motivating curriculum which excites and enthuses our children. This takes place within a learning environment that celebrates success, promotes thinking and enables children to feel safe and secure. We are a fully inclusive community where we believe all children have the right to achieve their potential. Our curriculum is broad and interesting, allowing children to excel both academically and in sport, music and the arts. External trips and visitors into school are an exciting part of Lower Heath; children can expect to see falconry displays, visit Chester Zoo and, for our older children, a residential trip to Manchester and even France!

As a Church of England School, our Christian values of love, respect, faith, fellowship and thankfulness are evident throughout daily school life. Children’s spirituality and wellbeing is nurtured and supported through our daily worship and through our curriculum. We have close links with Holy Immanuel Church in Fauls; children attend the church regularly for Harvest, Christmas and Easter services to come together as a whole school community.

Education of children is based on a partnership between the child, home and school. In partnership with parents, we aim to build up children’s self-confidence and enjoyment of their time in school. We are very proud of the strong parent partnership that exists at Lower Heath and the commitment our parents show in supporting their child’s learning at home.

While our website offers a glimpse into the vibrant life of our school, I warmly invite you to visit us in person. Come and experience firsthand the welcoming atmosphere and the exceptional opportunities we provide for all our children.
