Reception – Robin Class

Welcome to Robin Class!

In Robin Class, we are taught by Mrs Hipkins.

We love to start the day with a cheery ‘Good Morning’ song as this helps us to feel ready for our learning.

Each morning, we enjoy learning phonics (following Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised), writing and maths.  We also have time to explore our environment and continue our learning through play.  Mrs Hipkins reads with us in small groups at least 3 times per week and we share this reading at home with our parents/carers.

In the afternoons, we enjoy enriching activities such as music, art, outdoor learning in Allwood World and child-initiated learning.

Every day, we put on our running shoes and head outside to our daily 15 running track to ensure that we keep fit and healthy.

Robin Class is a wonderful place to learn, play and make friends!
